Electrical Safety
Protect your home and unit from electrical hazards
- Use only properly grounded (3-prong) outlets rated for the unit's voltage
- Do NOT use extension cords - plug directly into a wall outlet
- Keep the unit and all cords away from water and damp surfaces
- Do not overload electrical circuits - run unit on its own dedicated outlet if possible
- Never operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug
- Unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance
- Do not insert objects into vents or openings at any time
💨
Ventilation
Proper airflow is essential for safe and efficient operation
- Always attach and extend the exhaust hose fully - never operate without it
- Keep the exhaust hose as straight as possible - avoid kinks or sharp bends
- Direct the exhaust hose out of a window or door opening and seal the gap
- Maintain at least 50 cm (20 inches) of clear space on all sides of the unit
- Do not block the air intake or outlet vents with furniture, curtains, or walls
- Keep windows and doors closed in the room for best cooling performance
- Do not operate in rooms smaller than the recommended minimum size
🧹
Cleaning & Maintenance
Regular maintenance keeps your unit running at peak performance
Filter Cleaning
- Remove filter every 2 weeks during regular use
- Wash with warm water and mild soap only
- Allow to dry completely before reinstalling
- Never operate the unit without the filter in place
Drainage
- Empty the water tank regularly - especially in high humidity
- Use the drainage port for continuous drainage in humid climates
- Check and empty the tank before it reaches maximum capacity
- Always drain completely before moving or storing the unit
- Wipe the exterior with a dry or slightly damp cloth - never spray water directly
- Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners on any surface
- Clean dust from vents and grilles with a soft brush every month
💡
Usage Tips
Get the best performance and save on energy
Performance
- Use in rooms within the recommended square footage for your model
- Keep all doors and windows closed while operating
- Pre-cool the room for 20–30 minutes before extended use
- Set temperature between 22–26°C for ideal comfort
Energy Saving
- Use Sleep or Energy-Saving mode overnight
- Set the programmable timer to avoid running when unoccupied
- Use fan-only mode for milder days instead of full cooling
- Clean filters regularly - dirty filters increase energy use significantly
📦
Storage
Proper storage extends the life of your unit season to season
- Drain all water from the tank and internal components before storing
- Run fan-only mode for 30 minutes to dry internal parts completely
- Clean the filter and allow it to dry fully before putting it back in the unit
- Wipe down the exterior and remove any dust or debris
- Store the unit upright - never on its side or upside down
- Keep in a dry, cool location away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Wrap the power cord loosely and store exhaust hose coiled without kinks
- Cover the unit with a breathable cloth to protect from dust during storage
