01 - What Is Covered
Our warranty covers all manufacturing defects and component failures that occur under normal domestic use during the warranty period. This includes:
- Compressor failures — including motor burnout, pressure loss, and refrigerant leaks under normal use.
- Fan and airflow components — including motor failure, blade defects, and bearing wear.
- Control boards and electronics — including PCB failures, display issues, and wiring defects.
- Filter housing and seals — including structural defects and seal failures not caused by misuse.
- HEPA filtration units — defective filters on arrival are covered and replaced at no cost.
- Structural defects — including cracks, warping, or chassis failures under normal use.
- Smart home connectivity modules — including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hardware defects.
02 - What Is Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Misuse, neglect, or failure to follow the care and maintenance instructions in the product manual.
- Failure to clean or replace filters as recommended — this may void your unit's warranty.
- Using incompatible accessories, unauthorized parts, or third-party modifications.
- Physical damage caused by drops, impacts, flooding, or exposure to conditions outside the unit's rated specifications.
- Using the wrong voltage supply — always verify your region's voltage before installation.
- Normal wear consumables including filters, pre-filters, and carbon pads.
- Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, or discolouration that do not affect function.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repair attempts.
- Commercial use of domestic-rated products.
03 - How to Make a Claim
Making a warranty claim is simple:
- Step 1 — Email us at support@airnation.com with your order number.
- Step 2 — Describe the issue and attach photos or a short video if possible.
- Step 3 — We will respond within 1 business day with next steps.
- Step 4 — We will arrange a prepaid return label if the product needs to come back to us.
- Step 5 — We repair or replace and ship back to you at no charge.
In most cases we can diagnose the issue remotely and ship replacement parts directly to you — no need to send the whole unit back.
04 - Out of Warranty Repairs
We believe in products that last well beyond their warranty period. After your warranty expires:
- We stock all replacement parts for every unit we have ever sold.
- Full service schematics and documentation are available on request.
- We offer out-of-warranty repair services at cost — parts plus a flat labour fee.
- We can refer you to certified HVAC technicians in your region for on-site repairs.
We do not design products for planned obsolescence. If your unit can be fixed, we will help you fix it.
05 - Warranty Registration
Your warranty is automatically activated when you purchase from airnation.com. No registration is required. Keep your order confirmation email as proof of purchase — you will need your order number if you make a claim.
06 - Warranty Transferability
Our warranty is tied to the original purchaser and is not transferable to a new owner. If you purchased an AirNation product secondhand, out-of-warranty repair services are still available to you at cost.
07 - Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary by country or region. Nothing in this warranty limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain fully intact and unaffected by this policy.
